We are delighted to announce that Claire Beddoe is joining the Camp Kirk Office Team full-time. Claire is currently working as our part-time Assistant Camp Director while finishing her studies at teachers college and will take on that role full-time starting in May. She is currently supporting camper applications and helping get ready for camp. Claire has been working at Camp Kirk since 2018, initially as a counsellor, moving on to become the Community Care Director and more recently as Assistant Camp Director. What we love about Claire is no matter how busy she is, she always finds time to get silly with the campers and create those precious memories of Camp Kirk.

I’ve been incredibly lucky to have some truly remarkable mentors in my time with Kirk, and I aim to carry on the tradition of silliness, thoughtfulness, collaboration and love. I’ll be lighting my camp candle, ever impatient for the summer to come around so I can paddle around the Bucky Mucky Swamp with you all again next year.” – Claire Beddoe
