Meet Chantal
Hello Camp Kirk Community,
I’m so excited to be joining Camp Kirk this spring and becoming part of such an incredible community of campers, families, staff, and supporters.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in the non-profit sector helping organizations grow their impact through storytelling, fundraising, and community building. I’ve always believed that when people understand the difference they are making, amazing things can happen. My work has focused on connecting supporters to the causes they care about and building communities that rally around important missions.
From the moment I learned more about Camp Kirk, I could feel how special this place is. It’s more than a summer camp. It’s a community where neurodivergent kids and youth are understood, celebrated, and encouraged to grow in confidence and independence.
For me, this work is also deeply personal. My own household is wonderfully neurodivergent, so I’ve seen first-hand how important it is for kids to have spaces where they can truly belong. Knowing that Camp Kirk creates those experiences for so many young people makes this work incredibly meaningful to me.
Outside of work, I live with my husband and our two daughters. I’m happiest outdoors, especially anywhere near the water. Whether it’s hiking by a lake or swimming in Georgian Bay, that’s where I go to recharge.
I’m really looking forward to getting to know the Camp Kirk community and hearing the stories that make this place so meaningful to so many families. Thank you for welcoming me so warmly. I’m excited for everything ahead.
Warmly, Chantal
