The Real Cost of Camp Kirk: Keeping Camp Accessible for Every Family

At Camp Kirk, we believe every child deserves a place to belong — a space where they are seen, supported, and celebrated exactly as they are. Our community makes that possible. Families contribute what they can, and generous donors and partners help cover the rest.

As we prepare for the 2026 camp season, we want to share what it really costs to make the Camp Kirk experience happen and how we’re working to keep it accessible to every family who needs it.

ONE DAY. THREE SPORTS. REAL IMPACT.

On Friday, June 5th, we’re hosting our second annual Tri-Kirk Cup. A high-energy day of sport and community impact at Marie Curtis Beach. We’d love to see your organization represented on the field!

This friendly tournament brings teams of up to 10 players together for a rotating competition across three sports:

  • Beach volleyball
  • Dodgeball
  • Ultimate frisbee

It’s a fantastic way to step away from your desk for a day of fresh air, laughter, and team building!

Every team that registers helps change a young person’s life. Camp Kirk is designed specifically for neurodivergent kids, with autism, ADHD, or learning disabilities, who often struggle to find places where they feel accepted. At camp, they discover something powerful: A place where they truly BELONG.

Our Goal: $20,000

We’re aiming to raise $20,000 to send 10 children to camp this summer. Since 60% of our families rely on financial aid, your support isn’t just a donation, it is the key to a life-changing summer for a child who otherwise wouldn’t get to attend.

Can’t get away from the office for a day?

Don’t worry! We have other ways you can support our event. From sponsoring a Camp Kirk Summer Counseller team, to providing food for our particpants, you can still be a part of raising these important funds.
