Camp Kirk’s physical layout lends itself perfectly to creating a welcoming, safe and intimate space.
While in Main Camp, a camper can roam to various areas of activity while still being in eye sight of their cabin, staff members and friends. Being a favourite spot to hang out, the Director's cabin is the heart of the camp and provides a great space to find a little extra T.L.C. if feeling a bit homesick.
Our facilities provide all the necessary amenities for our campers to get active, take chances and to connect with others. Our program amenities include a large swimming pool equipped with a diving board and slide, three 40ft rock climbing walls, and expansive Challenge Ropes Course, basketball courts and more. For cabins groups ready for an extra challenge, we head to the Haliburton Highlands and other wilderness areas of Ontario for both day- and overnight-camping trips.
Attached to our office, our Infirmary is the place to go for all matters concerning health & wellness.
Our Camp Nurse/First Aider takes care of our campers and staff to ensure everyone is in tip-top shape to enjoy camp life. The Camp Nurse/First Aider is also responsible for the management and the dispensing of all medications.
Located 5 minutes from camp, the village of Kirkfield has a medical clinic should there be a need for a doctor. If additional medical care is necessary we are only 20 minutes away from Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay.
