Getting to Know your Child
To ensure a successful camp experience, we need to assess whether we have the appropriate environment and level of support for your child. For this reason, we have put together a comprehensive application process that requires information from the family, teacher, and child (NOTE: only the family portion is required for Returning Campers). It takes some time to fill out the application, but we are here for help and support if you need it!
Avoid the Waitlist
We work on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are interested in Camp Kirk for the upcoming summer, please send your application in today to avoid the waitlist.
Personal Home Visit for New Campers
Once we receive a New Camper Application, we will contact you to arrange a personal home visit. The purpose of this visit is for us to gain a clearer understanding of your child’s needs and to assess Camp Kirk’s ability to meet them. This is also a wonderful chance for your family to get a better sense of Camp Kirk- who we are and what we do!
If a child is eligible for Camp Kirk, we want to ensure they are not left out due to financial constraints. Although our subsidy fund is limited and we cannot guarantee funding, we work hard all year round to raise subsidy funds. We work hand-in-hand with families to ensure all financial aid requests can be met. We will put in the hard work, but we ask families to match our efforts - we will provide you as much support as we can to help with the process! You will be required to pay a deposit at the end of the online application. The deposit payment is $400 for full paying families. For families requesting Financial Aid, the deposit payment is 20% of your claimed Family Contribution. Deposit payments must be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Camper fees will be refunded in full if an application is cancelled by a family on or before February 1st. After this date, deposit payments are non-refundable. After May 1st, camper fee payments will not be refunded.
