Established in 1993, Camp Kirk is a nurturing and friendly residential (overnight) summer campthat welcomes boys and girls age 6 to 13 with ANY OF the following exceptionalities:
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD)
  • Some Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
  • Incontinence/enuresis (bedwetting)
Our mission is to provide an experience that builds a sense of belonging and self-esteem for children with Learning Disabilities and other exceptionalities.

Our vision is that all children with Learning Disabilities and other exceptionalities benefit from the "magic" and life affirming impact of the Camp Kirk experience.

Camp Kirk provides activities that promote strong self-control that help children develop mental readiness. With well coached activities such as: Martial Arts, Swimming, Ecology, Camp Crafts, Rock Climbing Walls, Ropes Courses, Drama, Ceramics, Arts & Crafts and Sing Songs.

With a very high staff/camper ratio (30/36), Camp Kirk gives each camper the necessary individual attention and the support they need. Because all of our campers have Learning Disabilities and/or special needs, together they learn that they are not alone and that they too can be successful.

Learning Disabilities and Special Needs Camp We have and continue to welcome many campers from America and all over the world and we are pleased to arrange for one of our staff to pick-up and return your camper from and to Toronto's International Airport.  Allow your child to enjoy the Camp Kirk experience.  The effect will last a lifetime.
